This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company.We are currently looking for a Mobile Engineer in Italy.In this role, you will join a distributed mobile engineering team focused on delivering a seamless and high-quality mobile experience for a global user base.You will work at the intersection of native mobile and web technologies, contributing to a hybrid application that blends React Native and web-based components.The position offers strong technical ownership, close collaboration with product and design teams, and the opportunity to solve complex challenges at scale.You will play a key role in improving performance, usability, and maintainability across the mobile platform.This is a fully remote role within a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.Your work will directly impact how users interact with critical HR and payroll workflows worldwide.Accountabilities:Design, build, and maintain robust mobile applications using React Native with a strong focus on quality and performanceCollaborate closely with frontend, backend, product, and design teams to deliver seamless and intuitive user experiencesContribute to both native mobile features and embedded web flows, improving hybrid app interactionsOwn initiatives end to end, from technical design through implementation and releaseImplement efficient state management solutions to ensure reliable data flow across the applicationEnsure smooth integration between mobile applications and backend services, particularly Node.js-based APIsOptimize applications for responsiveness, scalability, and long-term maintainabilityStay current with mobile development trends and proactively suggest technical improvementsRequirements:5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years working with React and React NativeStrong expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern state management patternsProven experience publishing and maintaining applications on mobile app storesSolid understanding of WebView behavior and native-to-web communication patternsStrong grasp of mobile architecture principles and best practices for high-quality deliveryExcellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skillsComfortable collaborating with cross-functional, remote teamsExperience with Swift, Java, or OTA updates is a plusExperience writing unit tests using React Native Testing Library and VitestExperience with end-to-end testing frameworks such as DetoxBenefits:Competitive and location-aware compensationStock grant opportunities depending on role, location, and employment statusAdditional benefits and perks tailored to your country of residenceFully remote work with flexible arrangementsOptional access to shared workspaces such as WeWorkInclusive and diverse work environment with equal opportunity practices#J-*****-Ljbffr
