This position will join the team at an exciting moment, with an opportunity to own quality system development and contribute to the design of requirements, processes, and systems used across the business.Responsibilities- Perform daily defect resolution as the Quality member- Investigate Production System issues to reduce defect rates and drive root cause corrective actions- Implement the Leo Quality System through process development and launch mechanisms- Partner with cross-functional groups to develop and qualify internal production processes, including Quality Assurance processes- Conduct rigorous Continuous Improvement activities to prevent recurrence of non-conformance during assembly- Perform audit activities to ensure compliance to QMS requirements- Manage the MRB process at production floor, review the non-conformance and approve disposition- Perform root cause analysis to reduce NC- Lead work instructions (SOP) for the quality inspection team- Perform in-process and outgoing quality inspection for assembly process- Drive inspection improvement process toward industry 4.0 standards such as Vision and sensor-based systems- Lead problem solving using tools such as Lean Six Sigma, 8D, A3, Ishikawa diagram, design of experimentShift TimingDay Shift: Wed-Sat 6:30 AM-4:30 PM; Sun-Wed 6:30 AM-4:30 PMA day in the life- 24-hour NC review to observe trends and drive containment actions- Review NC on production floor and perform disposition- Review rework and lead salvage process- Perform measurements for quality lab such as CMM, Romer Arm, Optical Vision System, OMM, Height Gauge and other gauges- Collaborate with Quality Engineering and Quality Inspection team and provide support as neededAbout the teamHere at Amazon we embrace our differences and are committed to fostering an inclusive culture. Our culture is reinforced by our Leadership Principles, which remind us to seek diverse perspectives, learn, be curious, and earn trust.Basic Qualifications- 3+ years experience in Quality Inspection, NC approval process, MRB management- 3+ years experience using Excel for functions such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, PIVOT and advanced Excel- Problem-solving experience such as 8D, A3 and Six SigmaPreferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field- Basic understanding of SQL/Python- Lean Six Sigma – Yellow or Green BeltThe base salary range for this position is ************* USD hourly.
