Job ID: | Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLCAmazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network.Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we've designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.Amazon Leo Quality team is driven to develop a Quality System that is capable of scaling aerospace quality to volume and cost levels to meet end customer needs.This position will join the team at an exciting moment, with an opportunity to own quality system development and contribute to the design of requirements, processes, and systems used across the business.ResponsibilitiesPerform daily defect resolution as the Quality memberInvestigate Production System issues to reduce defect rates and drive root cause corrective actionsImplement the Leo Quality System through process development and launch mechanismsPartner with cross-functional groups to develop and qualify internal production processes, including Quality Assurance processesConduct rigorous Continuous Improvement activities to prevent recurrence of non-conformance during assemblyPerform audit activities to ensure compliance to QMS requirementsManage the MRB process at production floor, review the non-conformance and approve dispositionPerform root cause analysis to reduce NCLead work instructions (SOP) for the quality inspection teamPerform in-process and outgoing quality inspection for assembly processDrive inspection improvement process toward industry 4.0 standards such as Vision and sensor-based systemsLead problem solving using tools such as Lean Six Sigma, 8D, A3, Ishikawa diagram, design of experimentShift TimingDay Shift: Wed-Sat 6:30 AM-4:30 PM; Sun-Wed 6:30 AM-4:30 PMA day in the life24-hour NC review to observe trends and drive containment actionsReview NC on production floor and perform dispositionReview rework and lead salvage processPerform measurements for quality lab such as CMM, Romer Arm, Optical Vision System, OMM, Height Gauge and other gaugesCollaborate with Quality Engineering and Quality Inspection team and provide support as neededAbout the teamHere at Amazon we embrace our differences and are committed to fostering an inclusive culture.We have innovative benefit offerings, host annual and ongoing learning experiences, and mentor across levels.Our culture is reinforced by our Leadership Principles, which remind us to seek diverse perspectives, learn, be curious, and earn trust.Basic Qualifications3+ years experience in Quality Inspection, NC approval process, MRB management3+ years experience using Excel for functions such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, PIVOT and advanced ExcelProblem-solving experience such as 8D, A3 and Six SigmaPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related fieldBasic understanding of SQL/PythonLean Six Sigma – Yellow or Green BeltThe base salary range for this position is ************* USD hourly.Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, parental leave and more.Learn more about our benefits atAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.#J-*****-Ljbffr
