About the roleThis individual will work remotely with a global team and needs the ability to support C-level clients who themselves are global is key.We are seeking a seasoned technology business leader with specialized experience in cloud operating models and the role of cloud in supporting AI solutions.This role will serve as an authoritative voice in analyzing market trends, forecasting industry developments, and providing actionable insights to clients navigating the rapidly evolving AI landscape for Cloud Services.The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge of AI technologies in the cloud, with strong business acumen and exceptional research capabilities.Experience may have been with a major hyperscaler, or an IT service provider managing AI solutions on a hyperscaler (cloud) infrastructure.Gartner Analysts are industry thought leaders who create must-have research, market predictions and best practices for a broad range of world-leading organizations.A VP serves as a leader within Gartner and within their industry, making them a trusted source of advice for clients.As the market expert, a VP not only produces innovative, pragmatic and provocative research content, but also serves as a decision-maker and leader of cross-team and cross-practice research initiatives.They also engage with clients directly through virtual and in-person interactions, meetings, conferences, and industry events.Through these engagements, they challenge clients to reframe their thinking across key initiatives, interpret contextual realities, and propose and Thought LeadershipCreate compelling, high-quality research reports and thought leadership content on AI technologies and their business applications for hyperscalers.Develop frameworks, methodologies, and best practices to help organizations successfully implement cloud and AI solutionsIdeate, scope, and produce forward-looking research that addresses critical challenges faced by business and technology leadersPrepare and deliver tailored briefings for clients that translate complex technical concepts into actionable business insightsContribute to research agenda development by identifying emerging areas of interest in AICollaborate with Gartner colleagues in the development of research positions related to AI and cloud IT and business servicesClient Engagement and
