About Vantage Data Centers Vantage is committed to being a workplace of inclusion, equity, respect and acceptance.We celebrate diversity and intentionally seek out opportunities to learn from one another's experience.Vantage Data Centers powers, cools, protects and connects the technology of the world's well-known hyperscalers, cloud providers and large enterprises.Developing and operating across North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific, Vantage has evolved data center design in innovative ways to deliver dramatic gains in reliability, efficiency and sustainability in flexible environments that can scale as quickly as the market demands.Position OverviewThe successful candidate for this role will work with a team of other electrical and mechanical-focused engineers performing maintenance and repair for our data center infrastructure.We take our customer requirements for uptime seriously and keep our facilities maintained to a very high standard to ensure uninterrupted service for our customers.DutiesOperate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions in facility systems.Areas include: Electrical, mechanical, building monitoring, and control.Use of the Building Management System (BMS) and regular on-site checks.Management of suppliers and services, and maintenance of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).Daily monitoring of maintenance service providers and ensuring cleanliness standards.Implementation of improvement plans and small projects.Job RequirementsTechnical education (advanced technician or engineer level) in one of the following areas: Electricity (generators, UPS, low voltage distribution), climate, and cooling.Knowledge of fire protection and physical security (access control, video, and intrusion detection systems) or central building management systems is advantageous.Experience in operating data centers or similar environments.Versatile technical knowledge, especially in the areas of operation, maintenance, and inspection of critical systems.English and Italian – The minimum level required is B1.We operate with No Ego and No Arrogance.We work to build each other up and support one another, appreciating each other's strengths and respecting each other's weaknesses.We find joy in our work and each other, actively seeking opportunities to inject fun into what we do.Our hard and efficient work is rewarded with an above-market total compensation package.We offer a comprehensive suite of health and welfare, retirement, and paid leave benefits exceeding local expectations.Vantage Data Centers is an Equal Opportunity Employer.#J-*****-Ljbffr
