About us:At Exein, our mission is to build the world's first ecosystem for Io T device security, ensuring all types of devices are secure globally.Our dynamic team is passionate about data, machine learning, open source, and firmware.We constantly work to secure millions of devices, making daily life safer for everyone.Our unique products empower developers to secure their Io T devices with cutting-edge technology in an easy and frictionless way.Job overview:We are looking for a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis to join our growing team and support the company's financial backbone.This hybrid role combines strategic finance and financial controlling, offering broad exposure and the opportunity to make a direct impact on a fast-growing tech company.You'll work closely with the CFO and the Finance Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure financial excellence, compliance, and insight-driven decision making.Key Responsibilities:Corporate Finance • Assist in fundraising activities (equity, debt, grants), including preparation of investor materials• Develop and maintain financial models for strategic planning, valuations, and forecasting• Support M& A analysis, due diligence, and strategic projects• Produce board decks, investor updates, and strategic reporting packages• Conduct market and competitor research to guide financial decisions• Build scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate key business leversControlling • Monitor and analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast• Support annual budgeting and rolling forecast cycles across departments• Track and report on cost centers, project profitability, and key financial KPIs• Develop financial dashboards and reporting tools for internal stakeholders• Propose and implement improvements in cost control and financial efficiency• Collaborate with business units to understand financial performance driversQualifications:• 6-8 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, audit or controlling (Big 4, startups, tech, VC/PE a plus)• Strong experience in budget planning, forecasting, and financial planning & analysis (FP& A) (incl. variance analysis, scenario planning, and KPI tracking)• Proficient in Excel (advanced level) and Power Point; experience with ERP(Oracle) or accounting systems preferred• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and a structured mindset• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field• Fluent in English; working knowledge of Italian is highly preferred• Team player with high integrity, initiative, and the ability to work independentlyLocation:Rome - Hybrid (Piazzale Flaminio 19, *****)Exein promotes diversity in all its forms and is committed to creating an inclusive work environment for all our people.Applications received will be considered based on individual merit and adherence to the sought position, regardless of nationality, ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, parental responsibilities, age, religion, or personal beliefs.This job offer is addressed to both sexes, pursuant to laws ****** and ******, to people of all ages and nationalities, pursuant to legislative decrees ****** and ******, and to people belonging to protected categories (L. *****).
