Join to apply for the Azure Data Engineer role at NTT DATA Europe & LatamNTT DATA, Trusted Global Innovator, is one of the main players worldwide in the IT services sector.With over 140,000 professionals in more than 50 countries, we are leaders and accelerators of digital transformation, offering our clients tailored technological and innovative solutions.The driving force behind NTT DATA is its people, each with their uniqueness, talent, and attitude.We have built a Smile Working Company where care, listening to people, their well-being, and development of skills are our priority.We are looking for an Azure Data Engineer to support customers in Big Data projects, working in partnership with business analysts and solution architects to understand use cases, data needs, and outcome objectives.In this role, you will deliver data acquisition, transformations, and improvement, cleansing, conversion, compression, and loading of data into data lakes to be consumed by analytics and machine learning models.The ideal candidate will have experience working in a cloud native environment, be able to think outside the box, and find innovative solutions to everyday issues.We are looking for an engineer who can bridge the gap between Data Science and Data Engineering, with a clear understanding of both worlds.Responsibilities Support customers in Big Data projectsWork in partnership with business analysts and solution architectsDeliver data acquisition, transformations, and improvementCleanse, convert, compress, and load data into data lakesRequired Skills Working experience in a cloud native environment (GCP/AWS/Azure)5 years experience on Azure is preferredExperience and knowledge of Big Data Architectures, cloud and on premiseAzure infrastructure and networking working experienceProven experience in Java, Scala, Python, and shell scriptingSQL language knowledgeWorking experience with Agile Methodology and KanbanExperience in leading medium teamsWorking experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and other Azure related ETL/ELT toolsMicrosoft Certification: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect ExpertDesired Skills, Experiences And Certifications Other Big Data certification, such as Cloudera, Databricks, etc.Experience with non Azure ETL/ELT solutions (Talend, Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica PowerCenter, etc.)Experience with Data Visualization solutions (PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, etc.)NTT DATA recruiters will never ask job seekers and candidates for payment or banking information during the recruitment process.Please remain vigilant of third parties that may try to impersonate NTT DATA recruiters.Location: Milano, Bari, Bologna, Cosenza, Napoli, Roma, Salerno, Torino, Treviso, Pisa#J-*****-Ljbffr
