Senior Accountant, Marina Di PortiscoSardinia, ItalyAre you a detail-oriented, proactive individual with a strong foundation in accounting and financial controls?We're looking for a Senior accountant to join our finance team, where your focus will be on Internal controls, journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and a variety of ad-hoc financial tasks.If you're passionate about ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and contributing to a well-organized finance department, we want to hear from youKey Responsibilities:- Internal controls/SOX Compliance: Assist in maintaining and testing internal controls to ensure financial reporting is compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.Support SOX audits and work with internal and external auditors to provide documentation and explanations as needed.- Journal Entries: Post daily, weekly, and monthly journal entries accurately and timely.Review and ensure proper account classification and compliance with accounting policies.- Account Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliation of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.Follow up on outstanding items and ensure resolutions are in line with company procedures.- Reporting: Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis, to support senior management in decision-making.- Ad-Hoc Financial Tasks: Handle a variety of other financial tasks as needed, including system updates, process improvements, and financial analysis for special projects.- Ad-Hoc Administration Tasks: Help other teams as required.Legal, Operations, etc.What We're Looking For:
