Application Engineer (Biobanking / LIMS)Location: Milan, Italy (Hybrid) Type: Full-timeAbout DiDataDiData is a Swiss company developing modern software solutions for laboratories, biobanks, and clinical research teams.Our platforms simplify complex lab operations through intuitive design and configurable workflows.The RoleWe are looking for an Application Engineer with experience in Biobanking and/or LIMS to support our growing presence in Italy.Based in Milan, you will act as the link between clients and technology, translating laboratory and biobank workflows into effective digital solutions.You will work closely with Italian clients and DiData's Swiss-based product and project teams.The role is hybrid, combining remote work with on-site client activities.Occasional travel within Italy and abroad is required.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze laboratory, biobank, and clinical workflows and translate them into DiData system configurationsLead and support LIMS and biobanking system implementations from requirements to go-liveConfigure and customize workflows to reflect real operational processesDeliver system demonstrations and support pre-sales and solution discussionsConduct user training and provide application support (remote and on-site)Participate in system testing, validation, and quality assurance activitiesCollect client feedback and contribute to product improvementsPrepare technical documentation, SOPs, and validation materialsParticipate in client meetings, workshops, and industry or scientific eventsYour ProfileBackground in life sciences (e.g. Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics)Experience with biobanking, LIMS, or clinical laboratory environmentsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsComfortable working in regulated, client-facing, and international environmentsInterest in software systems and digital solutionsLanguagesFluent Italian and English (spoken and written)What We OfferA collaborative, innovation-driven international environmentA role at the intersection of life sciences and digital technologyExposure to leading research institutions and clinical organizationsProfessional growth opportunities in lab informatics and biobankingPlease send your CV and a short motivation letter to if you are interested.P.S.
