Role overviewWe are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support the development and validation of industrial use cases for an AI-driven engineering simulation platform.The role focuses on solid mechanics, heat transfer and fluid dynamics, bridging high-fidelity numerical simulations and AI-based surrogate models.Key responsibilities- Design and parametrization of mechanical and thermo-fluid simulation cases- Generation of high-fidelity datasets using FEM/FVM solvers- Validation of AI model outputs against traditional numerical simulations- Collaboration with AI researchers and software engineers to translate physical models into deployable solutions- Technical support during industrial pilot projectsRequired profile- MSc in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)- Strong background in solid mechanics, heat transfer and/or CFD- Hands-on experience with simulation tools (e.g. ANSYS, Abaqus, COMSOL, OpenFOAM)- Experience with parametric simulations and large datasets is a plus- Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and applied R&D environments
