Position SummaryAt STERIS we help our customers create a healthier and safer world by providing innovative healthcare and life science product and service solutions around the globe.We are looking for a Maintenance Support to join our team based in Pomezia (Rome).He or she will perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repairing procedures on buildings, mechanical equipment and utility systems.DutiesPerforming minor, major and emergency repairs of all buildings and equipment;Performing preventive maintenance procedures on mechanical and electrical equipment;Inspecting belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, greasing bearings, seals, etc.;Calibrating and repairing pneumatic systems;Monitoring and analysis of water purification system;Completing daily, weekly and monthly checklists on equipment maintenance procedures and maintaining records of scheduled maintenance procedures;Asking quotes of supplies and replacement parts upon need;Supervising external suppliers.EducationHigh School Diploma or GED.Required Experience3 years of experience in building mechanical equipment maintenance and repairs or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience;Good manual skills and ability to use electrical tools;Ability to learn and comprehend the fundamentals of the functioning of machines;Understanding of hydraulic systems;Understanding of circuit diagrams;Ability to clarify general maintenance requirements and simple procedures of different kinds of equipment;Ability to lift up to 25kg.This position requires knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties involved including regular communications outside the province of Quebec, training email communications and frequent meetings and interactions with English-only employees.The employer has taken all reasonable steps to avoid imposing this language requirement in accordance with the Charter of the French Language.Key SkillsBabysitting, Gsm, Informatica, BPO, ACCA, Designing.Employment DetailsEmployment Type: Full TimeExperience: yearsVacancy: 1STERIS is a leading global provider of products and services that support patient care with an emphasis on infection prevention.WE HELP OUR CUSTOMERS CREATE A HEALTHIER AND SAFER WORLD by providing innovative healthcare and life sciences products and services around the globe.For more information visit .STERIS strives to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.#J-*****-Ljbffr
