Join to apply for the GBS Account Payable Subs Accountant role at EssilorLuxottica2 weeks ago Be among the first 25 applicantsYour RoleWe are looking for a motivated Account Payable Specialist to join us at our Operations Headquarter in Agordo (BL), where the history of our Company began.The Global Business Service is a Shared Service Center network that provides accounting services to our global subsidiaries.The EMEA Shared Service Center, based in Agordo (BL), is responsible for processes such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Master Data, Indirect Taxes, and Balance Sheet Assets for Italian companies and European subsidiaries.Main ResponsibilitiesAs an International Accounting Specialist, you will join the GBS Team and manage activities including:Month-end closing activities (accruals, prepayments, inventory, payroll)Act as the main contact for communication with subsidiariesLiaise with internal & external stakeholdersManage balance sheet account reconciliationsPost and process vendor invoicesPost customer payments and credit memosManage customer invoices and statementsAssist in preparing audit documentation for year-end auditsEnsure compliance with company policies and proceduresManage bank account reconciliations and postingsMain RequirementsEconomics, Finance, Administration, or Business Management Master's Degree with excellent resultsExcellent English skills; knowledge of additional EMEA languages (Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Russian, Arabic) is a plusAt least 1 year of experience in Accounting or Auditing within complex organizationsStrong quantitative analysis skills and proficiency in ExcelTeam-oriented mindset, believing that nothing is possible without your teamRecruiting ProcessIf selected, you will be contacted by the HR Department to guide you through the application steps.Diversity, Equity, and InclusionWe are committed to fostering an inclusive environment for all employees.We celebrate diversity and provide equal opportunities regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or other characteristics that make us unique.Additional InformationSeniority level: Entry levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Accounting, Auditing, and FinanceIndustries: AccountingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at EssilorLuxottica by 2x.Set Job AlertsSign in to receive notifications for "Accounts Payable Accountant" roles.#J-*****-Ljbffr
