Localization Specialist, Languages/ Content (Bangkok-based)Join to apply for theLocalization Specialist, Languages/ Content (Bangkok-based)role atAgoda.Location: Bangkok, Thailand.About AgodaAgoda is an online travel booking platform for accommodations, flights, and more.We build and deploy cutting-edge technology that connects travelers with a global network of 4.7 million hotels and holiday properties worldwide, plus flights, activities, and more.Based in Asia and part of Booking Holdings, we have 7,100+ employees representing 95+ nationalities in 27 markets, fostering a diverse and collaborative environment.ScopeAs a Localization Specialist, you will be the owner of translation technology within our team, ensuring Agoda's products and communications are efficiently and accurately localized into 38 languages.You will manage and optimize translation workflows, implement automation, and leverage the latest machine translation and large-language-model (LLM) solutions.Your role will be critical in driving operational excellence, supporting translators, and ensuring the highest quality of localized content through data-driven analysis and continuous process improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage translation technology, including CAT tools, translation management system, and related integrations.Operate and optimize translation workflows, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and quality.Implement and maintain automation solutions to streamline localization processes.Evaluate, deploy, and support the latest machine translation and LLM-based translation solutions.Collaborate with translators, project managers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and improve localization outcomes.Analyze localization data and KPIs to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement.Develop and maintain localization guidelines, best practices, and technical documentation.Support vendor onboarding and technical integration.Ensure localization processes are reliable and aligned with industry standards.What You'll Need to SucceedStrong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.Experience operating translation workflows and managing localization technology.Hands-on experience with automation in localization, including scripting or workflow automation tools.Familiarity with machine translation engines, LLM-based translation solutions, and CAT tools.Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience in a global, fast-paced environment, ideally in e-commerce or technology.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Fluency in English required; additional language skills are a plus.Equal Opportunity EmployerAgoda is committed to providing equal employment opportunity regardless of sex, age, race, color, national origin, religion, marital status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, citizenship, veteran or military status, and other legally protected characteristics.We prioritize attraction and inclusion of diverse talent.Discover More About Working At AgodaAgoda CareersFacebookLinkedInYouTube#J-*****-Ljbffr
