The Regional Market Access Lead in Italy is responsible for defining and integrating strategies to extend and maintain optimal access to the market for resmetirom.This role involves developing and strengthening interactions with institutional opinion leaders and decision-makers, managing institutional relations, and ensuring the implementation of key access activities within prioritized regions.Key responsibilities: Define and implement market access strategies to ensure access at regional and hospital level; Manage and maintain institutional relationship with all Regional Health Administration (decision makers, evaluators, influencers/advisers) and in their hospitals (management, medical directions, pharmacy); Lead the access at regional service and hospital level, and with purchasing centers; Provide guidance for the development and customization of pharmaco-economic data (cost-effectiveness and budget impact) in line with the specific needs of sub-national stakeholders; Establish relationships with key stakeholders such as Regional Health Authorities, Medical societies, Scientific Institution, Payers and Patient Advocacy groups; Ensure that all activities related to the job comply with the applicable external and internal regulations; Analyze health economic and structural policy developments in your region to derive strategic recommendations Present and defend the medical and economic value of our products in discussions with key decision-makers Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., Field Force, Market Access, HEOR, Public Affairs, Medical Affairs, Patient Affairs) Organize and conduct regional events, advisory boards, and stakeholder workshops Monitor relevant tenders, reimbursement decisions, and regional-specific regulations Qualifications and Skills Completed degree in Health Economics, Pharmacy, Medicine, Public Health, or a comparable field >15 years in the position in the pharmaceutical industry with dialogue with Regional Health Administration and local organization the Italian healthcare system.In-depth knowledge of the Italian regional and sub-regional healthcare landscape; particularly regarding budgeting approach, tender management, formulary inclusion Knowledge and leadership of relationships with key stakeholders for the pharmaceutical industry at all levels within the Health Organizations Demonstrate deep scientific knowledge capacity; Demonstrate success in drug launching in the regional and hospital market; Holistic and strategic vision Strong communication skills, negotiation ability, and diplomatic demeanor when dealing with complex decision-making bodies Ability to conduct strategic analysis and derive operational recommendations Willingness to travel within the assigned region IQVIA reserves the right to evaluate candidates with domicile / residence and work experience / study with requirements responding to the open request.Applications WITHOUT the requirements Will NOT be fully taken into account.Please enter the authorization to the processing of personal data (DL********) - General Data Protection Regulation (13 GDPR ****** –).The research is urgent and is intended for candidates of both sexes (L.******).#LI-DNP #LI-CES IQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.We create intelligent connections to accelerate the development and commercialization of innovative medical treatments to help improve patient outcomes and population health worldwide.Learn more at
