Temporary Accountant

Hays Italy, part of the multinational Hays group, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange, which offers consulting services in the Information Technology sector with the aim of contributing to the success and technological progress of individuals and companies, is looking for a Temporary Accountant (6 months - for freelancers only) who will report to the Local Controller & will be responsible for maintaining accounting principles, practices & procedures to ensure accurate & timely generation of the financial statements & management reports.Field: Advanced engineering simulation software solutions The Temporary Accountant will assist the entity Finance Team, they will be mainly responsible for daily accounting tasks related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, tax returns elaboration & specific month end closing tasks DUTIES Accounts payable: Registration & supervision of suppliers' invoices.Preparation of weekly suppliers' payment & accounts payable accounting Accounts receivable: Registration & supervision of customers receipts, customer collections follow up, accounts receivable accounting Fixed assets: additions, disposals & monthly depreciation Monthly payroll booking VAT monthly preparation F24 payments using Desktop Telematico (or similar) Monthly closing tasks General Ledger monthly accounts reconciliations REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Economics or Diploma in Accounting Minimum proven 4 years' experience in required responsibilities described above Technical knowledge of Italian GAAP Advanced English level due to constant verbal & written interaction with HQ & other European Subsidiaries NICE-TO-HAVE Prior experience within a multinational company would be beneficial Oracle ERP knowledge would be a plus OTHER Location: hybrid in Milan (Caiazzo M2) (2 days/week on-site) Full time, with immediate availability Candidates of any gender identity, after reviewing the mandatory privacy notice available at are kindly requested to submit their CV in PDF format, quoting the reference number (Ref. ******).Hays Solutions S.r.l.
