Are you ready to shape the future of cosmetic ingredients?Lead thedevelopmentofinnovative estersandfunctional ingredientsin this exciting new role that just opened at one of the most recognized multinationals in the cosmetic industry.Reporting directly to the Product Development Director and the R&D Manager, you'll beat the heart of updating and developing the cosmetic ingredients portfolio: selecting promising ingredients and helping to scale-up from lab to plant.This is an opportunity with aninternational scopeAs a Senior R&D Chemist you will be based at the italian HQ, between Bergamo and Milan, but will play an active role inteam-working and sharing knowledge across global équipes abroad.What You'll DoIdentify and evaluate new cosmetic ingredientsSynthesis of new ingredientsCollaborate with Product Management to assess feasibility and market relevanceSupport scale-up from lab to plant and troubleshoot implementationEngage with cross-functional teams across Italy and the UKRequirementsDegree in Organic Chemistry5+ years of direct experience in research and development of cosmetic raw materials/ingredientsExpertise in esters and functional ingredient chemistryExperience scaling up from lab to plantFluent in Italian and English
