Here, you will work on meaningful projects alongside passionate colleagues, driving progress and pushing the boundaries of what's possible.Learn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible.TheProduct Sales Specialistis responsible forresponsible for Sample preparation growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margin focus in Italy belonging to West team.This position reports to theSales Manager Italyand is part of theWest Saleslocated inItalyand will be a remote and travelling role.In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity ToSales Plans & Activities - Using an agreed European Sales Methodology and in close cooperation with the sales Agents team carry out the agreed Sales Plans & activities in the Italian territory in order to achieve Sales and Profitability targetsForecasting - Prepare accurate weekly and monthly pipeline data in SFDC for Sales Forecasts for confocal and widefield product linesPlan and carry out regular visits in cooperation with local sales Agents to existing customers to continually monitor requirements and satisfaction levels, business trends and competitor activity. Keep close contact to appropriate levels of Key Accounts, investigate their business needs and serve as main contact for themPlan and organize workshops at customer site; represent the company at trade meetings to promote productsThe Essential Requirements Of The Job IncludeStrong Sales experience (minimum 4 years) in the Life Science MarketStrong communications - sound business acumenDegree preferably in a Life Sciences, or equivalent experienceProven record of successful selling of high-tech instrumentsFluency in Italian and EnglishTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment RequirementsMust have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Ability to drive business success through demonstrating consistent and impressive sales growth over a period of timeStrong negotiation skills and ability to build sound relation with Key Account CustomersKnowledge of purchase procedure according to Italian regulationLeica Microsystems, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
