You will learn about Amazon's logistics network, interact with other teams to build optimized systems, and have autonomy to deliver software which impacts multiple delivery provider programs. Key job responsibilitiesDesign and develop scalable software solutions ensuring high performance and reliabilityContribute significantly to the full software development lifecycle including scoping, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance while demonstrating operational excellenceSolve complex, previously unsolved challenges in retail environments by applying strong technical design skills and creating innovative solutions that enhance the customer experienceActively participate in the code review process, providing meaningful feedback to team members and ensuring high-quality software development standardsCollaborate Sr Engineers, Product Managers and Engineering Managers to develop Last Mile tech solutionsDemonstrate excellence in verbal and written communication and independently deliver quality results in a fast paced environmentBasic Qualifications3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experienceExperience programming with at least one software programming languagePreferred Qualifications3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experienceBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
