OverviewOffice: Milan, ItalyStart date: Between July and SeptemberAbout UsCYSEC is a fast-growing European data security company based at the EPFL Innovation Park in Lausanne, Switzerland.We specialize in delivering 360° security in one click for container-based workloads and platforms through our ARCA trusted OS software.Partnering with leading cybersecurity research centers, we develop innovations in Confidential Computing and provide cybersecurity solutions across multiple industries.Our solutions are deployable on-premises, in the cloud, and at the edge.We are a team of expert cryptographers and software security specialists, combining deep security knowledge with extensive industry experience.Our multinational and multilingual team believes in diversity and inclusion as drivers of excellence and innovation.Join us to shape the future of securityJob descriptionYou are a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in operating systems, software maintenance, and security.You thrive in managing and improving existing OS versions, ensuring stability, security, and performance.You are highly motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.Your ability to track vulnerabilities, oversee software releases, and support internal teams makes you a key player in delivering high-quality cybersecurity solutions.At CYSEC, you will face exciting challenges as you contribute to building the most secure solutions for our customers.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and manage existing OS versions, ensuring stability and performance.Oversee software releases, including version updates and patches.Identify, analyze, and resolve reported or tested software bugs.Monitor and address security vulnerabilities (CVE tracking and resolution).Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal teams and clients.Collaborate with development teams to implement improvements and fixes.Document maintenance processes and update technical documentation.QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in software maintenance, OS management, or system administration.Strong understanding of Linux-based operating systems;experience working withYocto is a plus.Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including CVE tracking and vulnerability management.Experience with software release processes and version control systems.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.Excellent communication skills in English;French is a plus.If you are passionate about cybersecurity and want to contribute to cutting-edge security solutions, we would love to hear from you#J-*****-Ljbffr
