From urban planning to residential and mixed-use developments, from corporate campuses to public buildings and hotels, each ACPV ARCHITECTS project embodies a new vision where nature and the noblest human aspirations can find new centrality.We are looking for aModel Lab Assistantto join the internal Model Making and Prototyping Lab, supporting design teams in the production of physical models and prototypes throughout all project phases. The role combinesdigital fabrication, model making, and hands-on craftsmanship, working closely with architects, designers, and the Design Technology department.The role will include a range of activities such as:Supporting the production of architectural physical models at different scalesOperating and maintaining3D printing equipmentand managing print workflowsPreparing and optimizing digital files for fabrication (3D printing, CNC, laser cutting where applicable)Developing digital models for physical production usingInventor, Rhino, and RevitAssisting in the assembly, finishing, and refinement of physical modelsCollaborating with project teams to translate design intent into physical representationsManaging materials, tools, and basic lab organizationSupporting experimentation and prototyping activities within the model labProven knowledge of3D printing technologies and workflowsGood working knowledge ofAutodesk InventorGood working knowledge ofRhinoceros (Rhino)Knowledge ofAutodesk RevitExcellent manual skillsand strong attention to detailAbility to work accurately on physical models and prototypesGood organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasksFluent English(spoken and written)Please note that the listed requirements are not mandatory.Previous experience in architectural model making, prototyping labs, or similar environments will be considered a strong advantage.Software & Tools:Autodesk InventorRhinoceros (Rhino)Autodesk RevitSlicing software for 3D printingAdditional digital fabrication tools are a plusACPV is committed to create a better working environment supporting workforce diversity.
