OverviewSr/Pr Biostatistician (Europe - Oncology).Syneos Health® is a fully integrated biopharmaceutical solutions organization that accelerates customer success by translating clinical, medical affairs, and commercial insights into outcomes that address modern market realities.Our Clinical Development model places the customer and the patient at the center of everything we do, and we continually simplify and streamline our work to make Syneos Health both easier to work with and easier to work for.Why Syneos HealthWe are passionate about developing our people through career development, progression, supportive line management, technical and therapeutic area training, peer recognition, and a comprehensive rewards program.We are committed to a Total Self culture where you can authentically be yourself and where we take care of our people.We continuously build the company we all want to work for and our customers want to work with – by bringing together diverse thoughts, backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives to create a place where everyone feels they belong.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide support across all statistical tasks during the project lifecycle, from protocol to clinical study report.Prepare Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs), including well-presented mock-up displays for tables, listings, and figures.May be responsible for statistical aspects of the protocol, generation of randomization schedules, publications, and input to the clinical study report.Coordinate activities of other biostatistics and statistical programming personnel to ensure timely completion of high-quality work and provide independent review of their work.Create or review programming specifications for analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures.Review SAS-annotated case report forms (CRFs), database design, and other study documentation to ensure protocol criteria are met.Conduct verification and quality control of project deliverables, ensuring outputs meet expectations and are consistent with the SAP and specifications.Implement company objectives and develop alternative solutions to address business and operational challenges.Serve as the biostatistics representative on project teams, interfacing as necessary with departmental representatives and contributing ideas at internal meetings.Manage scheduling and time constraints across multiple projects, set goals based on management priorities, and communicate any difficulties in meeting timelines to biostatistics management.Monitor progress on study activities against agreed-upon milestones, ensure deliverables are met, identify out-of-scope tasks, and elevate to management.Provide statistical programming support as needed.May participate in Data Safety Monitoring Board and/or Data Monitoring Committee activities, including charter development and serving as an independent non-voting biostatistician.May lead projects involving integrated analyses, attend regulatory agency meetings, or respond to questions to support the statistical analysis results of clinical trials on behalf of the sponsor.Follow applicable SOPs, ICH guidelines, and relevant regulatory guidelines.Maintain well-organized, complete, and up-to-date project documentation and verification/quality control documents, ensuring inspection readiness.Assist with projects and initiatives to meet business needs.Support business development activities by contributing to proposals, budgets, and attending sponsor bid defense meetings.Coach and mentor other biostatistics staff.Perform other work-related duties as assigned.Minimal travel may be required.QualificationsPrevious lead experience within Oncology is required.This position is open to Europe only.Additional InformationTasks, duties, and responsibilities as listed in this job description are not exhaustive.The Company reserves the right to assign additional tasks and duties.All qualifications are considered equivalent if you demonstrate comparable skills, experience, or education.Candidates will adhere to the EU Equality Directive and the Americans with Disabilities Act regarding reasonable accommodations.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionResearch, Analyst, and Information Technology#J-*****-Ljbffr
