We are partnered with a leading M& A Insurance Underwriter for an entry-level hire into their team in Milan.Headquartered in New York and London, and with a team built by former attorneys and advisors in the fields of M& A, tax, insurance, litigation, intellectual property and capital markets, our client is an elite MGA in the sector looking to grow their junior team in Europe with an ambitious, diligent, and collaborative Law Graduate eager to make a name for themselves.What is the role?This is an exciting opportunity within our Client's M& A division for a bright and enthusiastic person seeking to build a career in the Insurance industry.This is a great opportunity to utilize your legal experience in a much more commercial and entrepreneurial environment.What will you be doing?Deal with incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and third partiesDevelop strong relationships with markets and with clientsAdvise our clients on legal issues during their corporate transactionsEnsure up to date records are always maintained on the Company systemsEnsure correct authorisation is obtained and processes followed when required by the Company and /or Group policies and proceduresProvide relevant management information to senior managementManage assigned projects and contribute to other projects as requiredRespond appropriately to urgent issues as they ariseKeep informed of all legal and regulatory developments relevant to the departmentDeliver a personal performance that contributes towards the Company achieving its objectivesEnsure all dealings are carried out with integrity and professionalismContinuously develop skills and knowledge What do you need to apply to this role?A degree in Law is requiredIdeally at least 1 year of post graduate workFluent in ItalianExperience of working in high pressure, multi-task, customer focused environmentsA desire to build a career within the insurance industryAbility to network extensively and can build sustainable working relationships If you would like more information on this role, or any other roles we are recruiting for right now, please get in touch with
