About Us:-Net2 Source Inc. is one of the fastest growing diversities certified global workforce solutions companies with an unprecedented Yo Y growth of over 100% for last 6 years working with Fortune ****/Global **** across 34 countries and 5 continents including North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Middle East.About the Role:Job Title - Veritas Backup SME IT InfrastructureLocation – Milan, ItalyMode of Work – Hybrid (2 Days Onsite in Week)Type of Hiring – Fixed Term Contract (FTC)Project Duration – 12 Months (Possible Extension)Job Summary:The Veritas Backup SME IT Infrastructure will be responsible for the design implementation management and troubleshooting of Veritas backup solutions across the organization This individual will provide expertise in Veritas Net Backup ensuring the smooth operation of backup and recovery processes and playing a crucial role in the overall data protection strategy of the IT infrastructureSkillsMandatory Skills : Veeam Backup & ReplicationKey Responsibilities: Backup and Recovery Management Design implement and manage Veritas Net Backup solutions for enterprise level backup and recovery operationsDevelop backup strategies schedules and policies to ensure data protection compliance and retention requirements are metPerform regular backups restores and disaster recovery tests to ensure systems are functioning correctlyMonitor backup jobs and ensure the completion of backups for various environments on-premises virtual cloudSystem Design and Implementation Architect scalable and efficient backup solutions using Veritas products Net Backup Backup Exec etcProvide expertise on Veritas Net Backup configurations including tuning and optimizationLead or support projects involving data migration storage optimization and disaster recovery strategiesEnsure that backup solutions are aligned with the company's infrastructure architecture and security policiesTroubleshooting and Performance Tuning Identify and troubleshoot issues in backup operations performance and failuresPerform root cause analysis for any backup or recovery issues and provide solutionsTune the backup environment for optimal performance including network storage and server componentsResolve any bottlenecks and enhance the overall reliability of backup solutionsAutomation and Monitoring Automate backup processes to improve efficiency reduce manual intervention and ensure reliable backupsSet up and configure monitoring tools to proactively detect potential issues in the backup environmentEstablish performance metrics and reporting tools to regularly assess the health of backup infrastructureDocumentation and Reporting Maintain and update documentation for backup policies processes configurations and troubleshooting guidesProvide detailed reporting on backup status capacity planning recovery performance and risk assessmentsEnsure documentation is kept up to date for audit and compliance purposesCollaboration and Support Collaborate with storage server and network teams to ensure the proper functioning of backup and restore processes
