PROPERTY UNDERWRITER Based in Milan and reporting to the Property Team, you will be in charge of developing and executing the strategy for the Property & Multinational risks into the Italian market.With strong ties to the Group, you will also support the local strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the Allianz Mid Corporate targets.You will be also the contact person for agents and/or brokers working with the Property Team.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure underwriters comply with underwriting authority, pricing and rating guidelines.Steer and control the portfolio at local level in conjunction with the Head of Property to drive the achievement of financial targets.Proactively liaise with functional areas to review performance of end-to-end underwriting life cycle.Work closely with Sales departments, Risk Consulting, Claims and other product lines to achieve key marketing strategies, including cross-selling.Ensure underwriting consistency and underwriting discipline and adherence to all corporate guidelines and authority levels, including Rules and Principles, Underwriting Authorities, corporate governance rules and local regulatory framework.Proactively support the development and implementation of new and/or modified productsSupport the acquisition of new business and retention of existing business (including agent and broker negotiations)Communicate local business strategy externallyKey Requirements/Skills/ExperienceMaster's degree in Engineering or Economics or LawAt least 3 to 5 years' proven experience in underwriting profitable Property business for Corporate Clients both PD/BI and TheftPreference if also experienced in Multinational clients as well as knowledge in Liability.Proven leadership skillsExpertise in risk assessment and a firm understanding of policy administration life cycle.Sound knowledge of pricing, together with strong market analysis skillsIdeally experience in designing, developing, and implementing consistent and robust wordingsIdeally experience in driving underwriting projectsEntrepreneurial mindsetStrong communication skillsAble to work in an international organization.Fluent in English (both written and spoken)Data analyticsVery good knowledge in Office 365 and other collaborative toolsAlessandry Group is one of the most trusted insurance and asset management companies in the world.Caring for our employees, their ambitions, dreams and challenges, is what makes us a unique employer.Together we can build an environment where everyone feels empowered and has the confidence to explore, to grow and to shape a better future for our customers and the world around us.At Allianz, we stand for unity: we believe that a united world is a more prosperous world, and we are dedicated to consistently advocating for equal opportunities for all.And the foundation for this is our inclusive workplace, where people and performance both matter, and nurtures a culture grounded in integrity, fairness, inclusion and trust.We therefore welcome applications regardless of ethnicity or cultural background, age, gender, nationality, religion, social class, disability or sexual orientation, or any other characteristics protected under applicable local laws and regulations.Join us.Let's care for tomorrow.Both genders may apply in accordance with the L. ****** (s.m.i).#J-*****-Ljbffr
