Billing Assistant (TEMP- 10 months contract)Apply for the Billing Assistant (TEMP- 10 months contract) role at Ashurst.2 weeks ago – Be among the first 25 applicants.About AshurstAshurst is a leading global law firm with a history spanning over 200 years, and a clear strategy for future growth.Our in-depth understanding of our clients and commitment to providing exceptional standards of service have seen us become a trusted adviser to local and global corporates, financial institutions, and governments in all areas of commercial law.Role OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Billing Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis, covering maternity leave for a period of 10 months.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a diploma in accounting who are looking to learn and gain experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our finance operations, with a particular focus on billing and reconciliation activities.The Billing Assistant will report directly to the Finance Manager and will work closely with other members of the finance and accounting team.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely completionProcess active invoices, including preparation, verification, and follow-up paymentsPrepare and maintain internal financial reports, including Work in Progress (WIP) and debtor reportsSupport the finance team with ad hoc administrative and reporting tasks as requiredEnsure compliance with internal procedures and relevant regulationsAbout youDiploma in Accounting (mandatory)Previous experience as a billing assistant is an advantage, but not essentialGood command of English, both written and spokenProficient in Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsProfessionalism, discretion, and a proactive approachWhat We OfferMaximum annual gross salary: €30,000Meal vouchers (€8 per working day)Full-time, 10 month contract with immediate startCommercial labour contractOne day of remote work per weekIf you are enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and develop your skills in a professional setting, we encourage you to apply for this temporary opportunity.We look forward to receiving your application and welcoming you to our team.#J-*****-Ljbffr
