Beta Systems Softwareis an ISV (Independent Software Vendor), a global leader in IT automation, security, mainframe optimization, and compliance solutions for complex enterprise environments.Founded in **** and headquartered in Berlin, Germany, Beta Systems operates through 25 subsidiaries worldwide.For over 40 years, the company has empowered leading organizations in financial services, manufacturing, retail, and IT to streamline operations, enhance data security, and improve compliance.Learn more at Job role:The Key Account Manager, Italy will play a critical role in driving Beta Systems' growth strategy in the Italian market.This position is responsible for existing and new business acquisition, account management, and revenue growth within enterprise client segments.The successful candidate will demonstrate a consultative sales approach, a proven record of success in enterprise software sales, and the ability to cultivate relationships with key decision makers at all organizational levels.The role requires a motivated self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial, trust-based environment and can work collaboratively across teams.Work location is Milan, Italy .Key Responsibilities:Identify, target, and engage new enterprise clients across the assigned territoryDevelop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional growth and revenue objectivesBuild and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholdersConduct clients need assessments and lead solution-oriented presentations and demonstrationsCollaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, and technical) to design customized client solutionsManage the entire sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and closingPrepare detailed proposals, RFP responses, and contractual documents in collaboration with legal and technical teamsTrack, forecast, and report sales metrics through CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot)Represent Beta Systems at industry events, trade shows, and conferencesQualifications:1. Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in business, IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)5+ years of experience in B2B enterprise software sales, ideally within mainframe or infrastructure solutionsExperience with IBM mainframe eco-systems (z/OS) can be an advantageProven track record of closing high-value enterprise dealsStrong understanding of enterprise IT ecosystems, digital transformation, and automation technologiesAbility to work both independently and through partner networks2.
