from concept to production including design, prototyping, validation, testing and certificationLeading and supporting a technical team on multiple projects in parallelCoordinate all activities within the engineering discipline for the project.Ensure coordination with other disciplines is effective for each project.Thorough understanding of technical principles and concepts in Electrical EngineeringWriting and developing functional specifications, design verification plans and test proceduresArchitecting, designing and implementing complex embedded system, analog and digital circuit design and systems debuggingSupporting product releases to manufacturing and customer deploymentsExecute tasks to fast-paced schedulesEstablish development processes to meet industry standards for a global scale, please applyBasic QualificationsExperience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test proceduresBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field10+ years of hardware engineering experienceExperience with analog, digital, and high-speed circuit designExperience with general troubleshooting/debugging of hardware, or experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems5+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems experienceExperience developing and executing test procedures for mechanical or electrical systems/components based on design intent and approved equipment submissionsExperience leading engineering teams as a mentor or tech lead, or experience leading and influencing your team or organizationExperience in motherboard design, PCB design including schematic capture, stack-up and circuit board layoutExperience in networking, multi-threaded applications, interprocess communication, and complex software developmentExperience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to productionExperience testing hardware/mechanical sub-components, research and data analysis skills, and/or Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout best practicesExpert in schematic entry, layout tools and design for manufacturability (familiarity with OrCAD Capture and Cadence Allegro tool flow is a plus).Proficient with PSPICE for analog circuit simulation.Demonstrated strong ability to move seamlessly between levels of abstraction – from system to the "nuts and bolts" implementation.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalentExperience with the project management of technical projectsExperience in problem solving and delivering resultsExperience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilitiesExperience in a customer-focused field or businessExperience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, or experience in a fast-paced, high-tech companyExperience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilitiesExperience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a productExperience understanding needs of business and end customers and translating them into right solutionsExperience with written and verbal communication and presentationExperience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems, or experience with general troubleshooting/debugging of hardwareExperience in troubleshooting installation, fault finding, and repairsAbility to support domestic and international travel as required by the geographic market up to $213,600/year in our highest geographic market.Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and
