Software Development Manager, AWS Agentic AI Job ID: ******* | Amazon Development Center (Tel Aviv)Come shape the future with usAs a major cloud provider, our technology powers many of the world's largest organizations.We are now building QuickSuite - a new and exciting Generative AI application that will transform how enterprises operate.You will have the exciting opportunity to be on the ground floor of developing this novel product.We are seeking creative problem-solvers who are energized by tackling complex technical challenges to push the boundaries of what's possible with AI.Our team collaborates closely across roles to rapidly build, test and iterate as we create an AI solution that delivers real business value.Join our innovative team to leave your mark on the next generation of AI.Key job responsibilitiesAs a Software Development Manager, you'll lead an elite team of development engineers to define, drive and execute on our product vision.You will invent and ship software that directly impacts our end customer experience.You'll develop your team of highly motivated and talented builders who can collaborate with applied scientists, product managers, technical specialists, and principals across the company.ResponsibilitiesYou'll lead the overall development life cycle of software solutions and manage complex projects with significant impact.Coordinate with your senior engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for product development.Assure that your team's designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.Prioritize, plan projects and features, manage partners, and track external commitments.Monitor operation of production services to ensure Operational Excellence.Foster the career development of your direct reports.Basic Qualifications3+ years of engineering team management experience7+ years of engineering experienceKnowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operationsExperience partnering with product and program management teamsExperience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategyExperience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineersPreferred QualificationsExperience in leading the definition and development of multi tier web servicesOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, including support for the interview or onboarding process, please visit for more information.If the country/region you're applying in isn't listed, please contact your Recruiting Partner.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.#J-*****-Ljbffr
