Business Development Director – Renewable Energy EPC (Italy) Location:Home-based, anywhere in ItalySector:Solar PV & Battery Energy Storage (BESS)About the CompanyOur client is amajor multinational EPC providerdelivering full engineering, procurement, and construction services across thesolar PV and BESS sectors .With a strong and established presence acrossEMEA , they are now poised toexpand their operations into the Italian market .This is a unique opportunity tobuild and leadthe company's growth in Italy from the ground up, supported by a highly experienced international business unit and backed by a global brand with a proven track record in delivering complex renewable energy projects.The RoleAs theBusiness Development Director for Italy , you will be thefirst person on the ground , responsible for establishing and expanding the company's EPC footprint across the country, working closely with the Business Unit Director (based abroad).Your duties include identifying opportunities, developing partnerships, and securing new EPC projects within the PV and BESS markets, playing a key strategic role from market entry through full commercial delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesLead business development and market entry strategy for EPC services in Italy (PV & BESS).Identify, pursue, and secure new EPC contracts with developers, IPPs, and investors.Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the renewable energy sector.Collaborate with the international EPC and engineering teams to ensure project success.Represent the company at industry events and within key professional networks.Establish the company's local presence and help build a small, high-performing local team over time.Required Experience & QualificationsItalian nationalwithfluent English(both written and spoken).Proven track record inEPC business developmentwithin Italy.Strong background inrenewable energy , specificallysolar PV and BESS .Deep understanding of the Italian energy market, permitting processes, and key stakeholders.Entrepreneurial mindset - comfortable with building a business presence from the ground up.Excellent commercial, negotiation, and leadership skills.Why Join?Part of aglobal EPC leaderwith world-class technical and financial backing.Pioneerthe company's presence in one of Europe's fastest-growing renewable markets.Enjoyautonomy and influencefrom day one.Long-term rewards and career progressionas the Italian business grows and succeeds.Interested?If you're ready to take on a leadership role where you can make a lasting impact on Italy's renewable energy landscape, we'd love to hear from you.The Green Recruitment Company#J-*****-Ljbffr
