advise local leadership on compliance obligations and regulatory changes.Serve as the primary local contact for contracted EHS services, ensuring services are delivered on schedule and meet Boeing standards.Review and update local EHS policies, procedures and permits to align with Boeing requirements, ISO standards and applicable legislation.Provide EHS input for new business opportunities, capital projects, facility changes and contractor scopes to ensure regulatory compliance and safe design.Support deployment, auditing and continuous improvement of the regional EHS management system (including ISO ***** and ISO ***** expectations).Act as regional contact for EHS incidents: coordinate immediate response activities, support investigations, and ensure timely, accurate incident reporting.Track and facilitate closure of corrective actions to prevent recurrence and to demonstrate continuous improvement.Prepare and submit compliance and technical reports required by regulators and Boeing regional management.Collaborate with EHS colleagues across the region to harmonize expectations, share best practices and standardize tools and processes.Support product and environmental compliance efforts (waste, emissions, chemical inventory and controls).Develop and deliver EHS training to meet regulatory and operational needs; verify training completion and effectiveness at assigned sites.Conduct regular site visits across the region to validate implementation of EHS programs, engage with site teams and support local continuous improvement.Basic Required QualificationsA degree or diploma in a health and safety-related subject or an engineering degree with modules in Environment, Health and Safety legislationASPP/RSPP qualificationUnderstanding of Italian Health and Safety legislationAdvanced proficiency in Italian and English (written and spoken)Minimum 5 years' professional EHS experience in engineering, production, or maintenance environments.Practical knowledge and experience with:Italian Legislative Decree ***** (and other local requirements across supported countries)ISO ***** and ISO ***** management system principles and implementationIncident investigation, root cause analysis and corrective action managementRisk assessment methodologies and control measuresProficient in preparing regulatory reports and maintaining compliance records.Preferred Qualifications (nice to have)NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC)Understanding of European Health and Safety legislationsProficiency in Spanish and/or FrenchTravelMust be willing and able to travel frequently throughout Italy and to other EU sites (France, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands).Competencies & Personal AttributesStrong interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all organizational levels.Practical, solutions-oriented mindset and high attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and elevate appropriately.Comfortable working in cross-cultural, multi-site environments and collaborating with external contractors and regulators.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa statusThis position does not offer relocation.Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.This requisition is for an international, locally hired position.Pay and benefits will be determined at the local level.Successful candidates must have legal authorization to work in Italy for continued employment.ShiftNot a Shift Worker (Italy)Export Control RequirementsThis is not an Export Control position.Equal Opportunity EmployerWe are an equal opportunity employer.We do not accept unlawful discrimination in our recruitment or employment practices on any grounds including but not limited to;
