Sandvik, Inc is looking for an Global Engineered Solutions Quotation Specialist, Mebane, NC, USLocation Mebane, NC or Westminster, SC USSANDVIK COROMANT is the world's leading supplier of tools, tooling solutions, and know-how to the manufacturing industry.Our customers, which include major manufacturers within aerospace, automotive, medical, energy and general engineering, rely on us to provide the highest level of knowledge, service, and support to help them achieve their goals for productivity and profitability.With extensive investments in research and development, we bring game-changing technologies and solutions to a dynamic industry driven by a demand for constant innovation.We have 8,000 employees and are represented in 130 countries, uniquely positioning us to set the industry standard for high technology manufacturing now and for the future.Sandvik Coromant is part of the business area Sandvik Machining Solutions within the 150-year-old global industrial group Sandvik.We are looking for a dynamic and results-orientated Quotation Specialist to join our teamKey Activities and ResponsibilitiesFollow the global Enquiry to Quote process and business rules to create quotes for Customized products and MTO requests including finalizing order entry and advanced technical support when needed.When needed Act as gatekeeper/dispatcher ensuring quality of incoming requests and assigning requests within the Global Engineered Solutions Quotation Team.Convert Salesman Request for Quote (SRFQ) into enquiries.Validate the Customized Solutions Sales Pipeline according to Business rules.Prepare official quotations, setting prices according to global Coromant pricing strategy.Provide simpler drawings, based on design templates.Make a judgement on the need for more complex design.Assigning design tasks to the Design Team.Collaborate with Coromant Supply function to receive supply quotes and drawings.Create and/or validate product data/material ID in SAP.Manage cases through Dynamics Case Management.Finalizing the order in SAP as needed.Working and communicating with SRT Design Team, Customer Service and Technical Dept, ensuring that both design and quotation timelines align with department KPI's, in order to provide strong support to sales units to win more business.Living the Sandvik Core Values.CompetenciesSandvik Business Understanding: Awareness and knowledge of Sandvik Cormorant's vision, structures, operating principles, core values, and code of conduct;
