PES Group was founded in **** as an industrial engineering, construction, and maintenance company.Over the years, the company has successfully combined technical expertise in project development and service management at an international level, mainly in the Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy (Geothermal and Wind), Petrochemical, and Automotive sectors.Currently, PES Group has eight offices in Italy : its headquarters in Rosignano Solvay (LI), Livorno, San Donato Milanese, Florence, Rome, Bari, Vibo Marina (VV), and Gela.It also has a presence in three countries abroad (the United Kingdom, Romania, and Aue).Join us on a unique journey where you can be part of a team working on exciting projects with a strong focus on innovation and technological development.If you share our passion for technological challenges and are ready to develop your skills to tackle tomorrow's projects, this could be the right opportunity for you.Role SummaryThe Subsea Pipeline Engineer is responsible for the engineering design, verification, installation planning, and operational assurance of subsea pipelines in shallow-water environments.The role ensures technical integrity, compliance with project specifications, safe installation, and interface coordination with structures, subsea production equipment, and offshore construction teams.Engineering Design & Technical ReviewPerform and review design calculations for pipeline wall thickness, on-bottom stability, free-span assessment, corrosion protection, and burial requirements.Review pipeline routing, tie-in configurations, expansion control, and pipeline crossing designs.Conduct design verification and ensure compliance with DNV-ST-F101, API, ISO, and project-specific standards.Review pipeline materials selection, coating systems, and cathodic protection principles.Shallow-Water Installation EngineeringPrepare and review installation procedures for pipe laying (S-lay / barge), shore approach, trenching, jetting, and burial.Evaluate environmental conditions and their impact on installation.Interface with marine operations teams for vessel readiness and operational limits.Interface & CoordinationCoordinate with subsea structures, riser teams, and topsides engineering.Provide technical clarification to fabrication and installation contractors.Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, and constructability reviews.Offshore SupportConduct offshore surveys, route verification, and as-built data review.Provide engineering support during laying, trenching, repairs, and pre-commissioning.Prepare daily offshore engineering reports.Develop design reports, specifications, data sheets, and method statements.Review drawings: P&IDs, alignment sheets, isometrics, spools.Handle technical queries and contractor documentation.Project Management & QA/QCMonitor contractor progress and quality.Participate in FAT, SIT, and material inspection.Ensure safety and environmental compliance.Knowledge and SkillsStrong knowledge of subsea pipeline design and DNV / ISO standards.Understanding of shallow-water installation challenges.Ability to review FE modeling (OrcaFlex, PipeLay, Caesar II).Strong interface management and offshore experience.#J-*****-Ljbffr
