Who we are Everli is Europe's leading marketplace for online grocery shopping and one of its fastest growing scale-ups (part of the annual Financial Times ranking for four years in a row).We are on a mission to deliver customers peace of mind with a trouble-free grocery experience they love and trust.We achieve our growth through a culture that is collaborative, transparent, data-driven and focused on our mission.Our rapidly growing and diverse international team has offices located in Italy (with headquarters in Milan) and Serbia (with headquarters in Belgrade).Job descriptionEverli is looking for an experienced VP of Logistics & Operations to lead our operational strategy and elevate the performance of our marketplace across Italy.You will own the full delivery and fulfillment lifecycle — ensuring same-day availability, reducing unfulfilled orders, improving on-time delivery, and driving efficiency across 60+ cities.We're looking for a strategic yet hands-on leader with deep logistics experience, ideally within gig-economy or on-demand delivery environments.You'll work closely with our CEO on business direction, and partner with our CTO to align operational needs with tech solutions.If you thrive in scaling operations, building high-performing teams, and turning insights into action, this role is for you.ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute an operational strategy that improves processes, workflows, and team performanceSet, monitor, and optimize key KPIs (same-day availability, order completion, on-time delivery, city performance)Partner with CEO and CTO to align logistics operations with technology platforms and routing systemsBuild, mentor, and structure a high-impact operations team with clear incentives and growth pathsOptimize fulfillment, shopper workforce management, and last-mile delivery across 60+ citiesSolve problems directly on the ground when needed and drive a culture of proactive problem-solvingEnsure strong performance management using data, analytics, and customer experience insightsDevelop scalable playbooks and SOPs to support new city launches and operational expansionRequirementsExtensive experience in logistics, operations, or supply-chain leadershipBackground in gig-economy / fleet-based operations (rideshare, food delivery, courier, etc.)Strong strategic and analytical skill set, with proven KPI ownershipLeadership style that combines accountability with hands-on involvementExperience managing and developing multi-city or multi-region operationsExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration with senior stakeholdersFamiliarity with last-mile delivery technologies and marketplace modelsWhat we offerFull-time permanent contract and a competitive salary.Welfare Budget.You can use this credit for a wide selection of services (education, public transport, vacations and entertainment, wellness, culture etc).Office-based in central Milan, providing daily collaboration with the team; requires on-site presence.Discount on your grocery with Everli.com.Anytime you use our service to get your grocery, you can apply a reserved discount on your basket.Please submit your CV in English exclusively.Everli is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.We foster an inclusive and diverse workplace.No matter who you are, what you look like or how many years ago you started your career: you will always be welcome in our team.Just like in a grocery store, diversity is richness#J-*****-Ljbffr
