We are looking for an HR Generalist who will be the main HR point of contact for our Italian entity. In this role, you will independently manage day-to-day HR activities, supporting employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on recruitment, employee experience and Soft HR. Payroll responsibilities will be limited to coordinating with our external payroll provider and ensuring smooth cooperation between the provider and the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment, talent & HR Support
  • Supporting managers and employees in day-to-day HR matters
  • Acting as a trusted point of contact for employees and supporting a positive employee experience
  • Supporting employee engagement, development and company culture initiatives
  • Coordinating onboarding and other employee lifecycle activities
  • Managing HR documentation and employee data
  • Supporting employees and managers with HR-related processes and questions
  • Coordinating recruitment processes from identifying hiring needs through to onboarding
  • Working closely with hiring managers and supporting them throughout the recruitment process
  • Coordinating candidate communication and ensuring a positive candidate experience
  • Supporting employer branding and talent-related initiatives
  • Participating in HR projects and initiatives

HR Administration & Payroll Coordination

  • Managing personnel documentation and employee lifecycle processes, including employment changes and terminations
  • Coordinating with the external Payroll Provider and ensuring smooth and timely exchange of information
  • Reviewing payroll outputs and following up on any discrepancies with the provider
  • Supporting compliance with local employment and labour law
  • Supporting HR reporting and monitoring HR-related costs

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR, HR Administration, Recruitment and/or Soft HR
  • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Economics or a related field
  • Good knowledge of local employment and labour law
  • Practical experience in recruitment and Soft HR
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • A people-oriented approach and genuine interest in supporting employees
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of CCNL Metalmeccanica will be considered an advantage
  • Experience working with an external Payroll Provider
