Overview

As Direct Account Manager, you will drive profitable growth in a defined territory by creating new opportunities and expanding existing relationships. You will promote a portfolio including new equipment, service agreements, and digital solutions, focusing on energy efficiency and productivity improvements. You act as a trusted advisor to industrial customers, translating their operational challenges into long-term value for their sites and for Ingersoll Rand. This role combines business development with technical/solution selling in a global, customer-focused company.

Responsabilità

  • Achieve sales targets across Equipment, Service Agreements and Digital Solutions; develop territory plans to maximize penetration and acquisition
  • Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities; drive cross-selling and upselling across the portfolio
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and manage opportunities using CRM tools
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and act as the primary commercial contact for assigned accounts
  • Conduct assessments to identify upgrade, service, controls modernization and energy optimization opportunities; tailor technical and commercial proposals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical, service, engineering, application) to create winning solutions
  • Maintain accurate customer records, forecasts and activity plans; provide regular reporting and forecasting
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity within the territory; participate in strategic sales initiatives

Requisiti fondamentali

  • Proven experience in industrial B2B sales with strong business development and CRM-driven relationship management
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate customer needs into profitable opportunities
  • Experience selling capital equipment, industrial services, technical solutions or maintenance contracts is highly desirable
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills; ability to engage both technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office; professional English proficiency
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory
