Southern Europe Sales ManagerReports to: VP of Sales, EMEALocation: Remote based in Italy / covering Southern EuropeContract Type: Full-time, PermanentThe Company develops, manufactures, and commercialises a range of molecular assays and instrumentation to deliver workflows and services that enable seamless end-to-end solutions from sample to result across multiple sectors including human health, animal health and environmental.The Company is divided into three business segments:Clinical : a broad portfolio of human clinical in vitro diagnostic products, workflows and services focused on three therapeutic areas:Reproductive Health: NIPT, Cystic Fibrosis and other rapid aneuploidy testsPrecision Medicine: DPYD genotyping assayWinterplex, multiplex winter respiratory PCR panelInstrumentation : a portfolio of next generation size selection DNA sample preparation platforms and rapid PCR machines, including:Ranger Technology: automated DNA sample preparation and target enrichment technologygenesig q16 and q32 real-time quantitative PCR (q PCR) instrumentsResearch Use Only: range of assays and services for the life science industry:Design, manufacture, and supply of high-performance q PCR assays and workflows for use in human health, agriculture, veterinary and environmental, to support global health organisations and the research industryPharmaceutical research services: whole genome sequencing (WGS) / whole exome sequencing (WES)Our Culture:We have nay social and wellbeing initiatives run by our Social Huddle that keep our sense of community alive during challenging times that the pandemic has thrown our way. The Southern Europe Sales Manager is responsible for building and driving the Novacyt product portfolio (Yourgene Health & Primer Design) commercial strategy in Southern Europe, to ensure that budgeted annual sales, profit objectives, and strategic goals are delivered.The Southern Europe Sales Executive is responsible for overall management of Southern Europe sales: developing and driving sales growth programs to ensure the territory delivers on strategic initiatives and revenue targets. This position requires a desire to find new business, penetrate new markets, and build long-term revenue streams.Responsible for the delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue targets, provision of detailed sales territory plans in key strategic markets and execution of these by building and maintaining long term relationships with direct customers and channel partners (eg distributors, where appropriate).Defining the sales strategy in assigned territory, including the identification of key market segments.Contribute to the delivery of annual sales and marketing plans in the EMEA region.Qualify and progress sales team leads through active customer management and utilise Salesforce to progress qualified opportunities.Liaise with marketing functions in order to engage and enlist partners to execute lead generation programs, pipeline stimulus programs and joint planning efforts.Become the reproductive genetic health and oncology subject matter expert for the assigned markets; provide key input on assigned market requirements to support development of future products.Develop and nurture a KOL network per market.Contribute to the maintenance of a customer relationship management (CRM) database.Comply with all Quality Systems.Genomic sales experience 2 - 5 years including Capex instrument salesDirect (Hospitals, laboratories, clinics) and distributor sales experience in assigned territoryFluent in English & Italian, and ideally based in ItalyWillingness to travel 50-60%International sales experienceExisting network of public and private hospitals and diagnostic labsExisting network of distributorsSunday 31st January 2026Resumes submitted to any Yourgene Health and Novacyt Group employee by a third party agency and/or search firm without a valid written and signed search agreement, will become the sole property of Yourgene Health and the Novacyt Group of companies.
