Responsabilità

  • Provide financial analysis, market data and business intelligence for strategic decisions
  • Lead annual operating, capital budgets and rolling forecasts with GM and department heads
  • Assess ROI for capital projects and track outcomes
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability, costs, and revenue performance
  • Develop benchmarking to enhance financial and operational performance
  • Represent finance in ownership meetings and Executive Committee discussions
  • Maximize cash flow through controls on inventory, credit, collections, disbursements, and deposits
  • Oversee P&L impact of operations and monitor revenue, costs, margins
  • Prepare timely financial and management reports with variance analysis
  • Approve balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset sub-ledgers
  • Manage hotel contracts and financial arrangements
  • Approve disbursements, rebates, adjustments and allowances per policy
  • Maintain records for audits to ensure transparency
  • Lead Purchasing team; align vendor selection with financial objectives and luxury standards
  • Enforce purchasing policies, thresholds and inventory controls
  • Ensure procurement complies with Accor policies and regulations
  • Collaborate with department heads on purchasing needs
  • Ensure compliance with Italian fiscal regulations, Accor policies and chart of accounts
  • Develop and implement internal financial controls and risk management
  • Maintain risk register and execute mitigation plans
  • Safeguard leases, contracts and legal records on the Critical Date List
  • Maintain required permits, licenses and regulatory filings

Requisiti fondamentali

  • Seasoned finance professional with luxury or ultra-luxury hospitality experience
  • Bachelor or higher in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • 5–10 years in hotel accounting or audit
  • Minimum 2 years in a Director of Finance or senior supervisory role
  • Experience budgeting, forecasting, reporting and asset management
  • Experience with ownership groups, external auditors and regulators
  • Knowledge of Italian fiscal and labour regulations
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Collaborative leadership and team development
  • Commercial mindset with problem-solving orientation
  • Financial analysis and valuation
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • Hospitality systems familiarity (Opera PMS, Sun Systems)
