We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client's growing team within the space industry. You will play a key role in the design, analysis, verification and delivery of flight-qualified mechanical and thermal hardware for satellite payloads. Key Responsibilities Mechanical design and analysis of spaceborne radar structures and subsystems Perform structural analyses Perform thermal and thermo-mechanical analyses for space environments Develop mechanical and thermal system architectures for payloads and sub-systems Produce detailed CAD models and engineering drawings Design and support mechanical and thermal test campaigns Support integration, verification and qualification of flight hardware Required Skills & Qualifications Strong understanding of mechanical and thermal engineering principles Strong experience with CAD and CAE tools, including: SolidWorks CREO FEA tools (ANSYS, Nastran, Femap or similar)Solid understanding of the full engineering lifecycle (concept → design → analysis → qualification → delivery → in-service)Experience producing manufacturing drawings and technical documentation Good written and spoken English Strong communication and teamwork skills Apply today for more information
