This organisation is scaling its operations in Italy and offers the chance to play a pivotal role in shaping its investment strategy and acquisition pipeline.If you want to be part of a dynamic, global company at the forefront of the energy transition, this is a standout opportunity.The OpportunityAs M&A Manager, you will be central to the company's growth strategy in Italy, supporting the full lifecycle of buy-side transactions, strategic investments and greenfield project evaluations.Working within a collaborative and international environment, you will help drive the acquisition of renewable energy assets, coordinate due diligence processes, build advanced financial models, and support investment decision-making at both local and global levels.This role offers significant scope, visibility, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on a market-leading renewable platform.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate due diligence, structuring and negotiation across multiple M&A opportunitiesManage internal stakeholders and external advisors throughout NBO and BO stagesBuild and analyse detailed financial models and commercial assumptionsPrepare investment papers, valuations and strategic presentationsSupport the assessment of greenfield project risks, feasibility and strategic optionsContribute to strategic analysis, portfolio studies and partnership evaluationsCollaborate with global teams to support business planning and investment approvalsBuild strong working relationships across technical, financial and corporate functionsSkills & Experience4–5+ years' experience in M&A, corporate finance, investment analysis or valuationBackground in Big 4, investment banking or private equity is advantageousStrong technical skills in valuation (FCFF, FCFE), modelling, finance and accountingHands-on M&A due diligence experience is essentialExperience in the renewable energy or infrastructure sectorExcellent stakeholder management, communication and teamwork skillsAble to operate autonomously with exceptional attention to detailMSc/MBA in Finance or related discipline preferredWhy This Role Is ExcitingJoin a high-growth renewable energy developer with exceptional financial backingBe part of a dynamic, international team driving the energy transitionPlay a key strategic role in expanding the Italian marketWork across diverse and impactful renewable projectsStrong opportunities for progression as the business continues scalingIf you're looking for a strategic, hands-on role within a forward-thinking renewable energy business that is investing aggressively in growth, we'd love to hear from you.
