Speed, responsiveness, simplicity, and pragmatism are at the heart of everything we do.The Planning Manager is responsible for sequencing operations (prioritization and consolidation) as well as monitoring their execution. They create the Master Production Schedule (MPS), manage available-to-sell inventory, and confirm delivery times to customers.ResponsibilitiesMaster Production Schedule (MPS) creation: develops and proposes weekly operational production plans for the site based on customer needs and the results of the previous plan; measures plant workload.Ensure the feasibility of the plan by identifying capacities, resources, and available inventory.Participate in the MPS meeting and, after validation, implement and monitor the production plan, check its compliance with work orders, and release work orders.Supervise, with production and support teams (maintenance, quality, etc.), the daily monitoring of plan execution, regularly ensuring commitments and inventory levels are met. Participate in the development and monitoring of corrective and improvement actions and in customer communication.Prioritize work orders to reduce launch costs and optimize logistics costs.Handle alerts.Close work orders.Report deviations according to severity in case of delays.Lead the daily backlog follow-up meeting.Lead the weekly workload meeting.Performance MonitoringManage the team of Planning Coordinators.Be responsible for the adherence rate to the production plan.Ensure product availability on scheduled shipping dates. Minimize volume/inventory standard deviations or lead time/customer commitment deviations.Update resource requirement tables and production schedules based on MPS decisions.Be responsible for the reliability of the data used.Optimize resource allocation.Contribute to achieving OTIF (On Time In Full), analyze delays, and implement action plans to reduce non-OTIF.Application of StandardsCan assess the importance or criticality of deviations from a standard and addresses them.Ensure standards are applied within their scope.Provide realistic and feasible proposals to correct deviations (for example, bill of materials).Continuous ImprovementRegularly suggests improvement proposals within their scope.Provides and explains initial continuous improvement elements to their team.Communicates progress on changes implemented.Formalizes and shares improvement proposals within their scope.Team LifeWorks in the collective interest of the site.Works with production, considering their constraints.Works cross-functionally, considering constraints from other areas (sales, production, etc.).ProfileFrom 3 to 5 years of professional experience, preferably in the industry sector, in supply chain fields and in an international environment.Strong communication skills, with a proactive, enthusiastic, and problem-solving mindset.Strong team orientation and the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments, especially with the Production Office, to achieve shared goals.English knowledgeSAP
