Senior QA Engineer – Lead Quality & Automation at Motor KAt Motor K, we're redefining how the world's leading car manufacturers connect with their customers. As we enter our next phase—transforming into an AI-native company—we're looking for a Senior QA Engineer to lead the next generation of quality and automation across our platform.The RoleAs a Senior QA Engineer, you will own the QA strategy and lead the implementation of modern testing frameworks that ensure reliability and speed at scale. You'll design and manage automated test solutions using Playwright or Cypress, mentor QA engineers, and collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure every release meets the highest standards.This is a key leadership role for someone passionate about automation, process improvement, and exploring how AI can elevate quality assurance.What You'll Do:Lead QA strategy: Define, implement, and continuously improve QA processes across multiple teams and projects. Drive automation: Build, maintain, and scale automated test suites using Playwright, Cypress, or other Node.js-based frameworks . Ensure quality at speed: Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines for seamless, reliable releases. Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure quality is built in from day one. Mentor and guide: Support and develop junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Champion innovation: Explore and introduce AI-driven testing tools and methodologies to enhance QA efficiency.Safeguard data integrity: Conduct API and data validation testing , including SQL-based checks and migrations.What You'll Bring:Must-Have SkillsExpertise in test automation using Node.js-based frameworks (Playwright, Webdriver IO, Cypress)Programming in Java Script or Type ScriptExperience with API testing (REST principles, Postman, Swagger)Database querying and validationExperience with Agile methodologiesProficiency with JiraNice-to-HaveKnowledge of load testing tools such as k6AI-driven testing tools experience (Cursor, Claude Code, beyond Chat GPT/Copilot)Strong background in mentoring junior and mid-senior QA engineersPassion for process improvement and innovation in QAWhy Motor K:Join a company that's shaping the future of digital experiences for the automotive industry.Play a leading role in our evolution toward AI-native software development.Collaborate with talented teams across Europe in a fast-paced, innovative environment.Drive real impact—your work will directly enhance the quality of products used by millions of drivers worldwide.Motor K is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of Any kind.
