We are currently expanding our core internal creative team.The RoleWe are looking for a Senior Art Director to join Ontologie internally.This role will lead the creative team and work side by side with the Founder & Creative Director to:Define and evolve visual languagesLead campaigns and creative direction across projectsGrow Ontologie's creative intelligence and internal standardsHelp shape the long-term creative direction of the studioThis is a role for someone who wants to help build a new creative model at a moment of real transformation, not simply execute briefs.This is not a freelance position, not a project-by-project collaboration, not a branding job, not a design job. What You Will DoLead art direction for fashion, luxury, beauty, design, and lifestyle campaignsDevelop strong visual concepts, references, and visual systemsTranslate strategy and positioning into generative AI and hybrid images, films, and coherent visual narrativesMentor and guide junior creatives, setting a high bar for quality, rigor, and thinkingWork side by side with creative and technical teams to develop effective creative workflowsBe involved early in the thinking and conceptual phases, contributing ideas, structure, and directionHelp define and evolve Ontologie's long-term creative visionWho You AreBackground in art direction within fashion, luxury, or editorial contextsExperience in at least one of the following:Independent editorial magazines or platforms, orBoutique creative studios, orIn-house creative teams at strong, design-led brandsA genuine interest in exploring the potential of AI-generated imagery and next-gen tools, curious and open-minded toward new creative processes and toolsA strong eye for imagery, culture, typography, and visual systemsAble to think in systems and narratives, not just individual images or layoutsComfortable leading ideas and creative directionMotivated to grow inside a studio, contribute long-term, and help build something meaningfulGen AI a PlusArt Direction on set photo shooting a PlusFashion & Luxury background a mustWhy OntologieWe are not a traditional agency.
