Contracts Specialist

The role involves working primarily in English and German; knowledge of Italian would be an advantage.The position offers a high level of autonomy, with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Reviewing, drafting and negotiating agreements and transaction documents in compliance with applicable policies and legal and ethical standards, with minimal supervision Responding, within established guidelines, to customers' RFP/RFQs, vendor qualification documents and contractual requestsAligning with customers, using appropriate contractual language to reflect the business interests and policies of the partiesTaking the Contracts Lead role on more complex projects and frame agreements as experience developsWorking with customers, members of the legal team and other Emerson partners to bring deals to closureAnalyzing business, financial, and legal risksResearching information on existing agreements and contractual programs, assisting with analysis and compiling data for reports Providing contract-related guidance to Sales, Project Management and other partners Who You Are: You distinguish between what is relevant and what is not, prioritizing actions accordingly, while analyzing multiple and diverse sources of information to define problems accurately before moving to solutions. Establishing and implementing individual accountability within the team ensures shared responsibility and ownership. Messages are delivered in a clear, compelling, and concise manner, and decisions are made with high quality, even when based on incomplete information or in the face of uncertainty.
