COIMA is a leading group in the investment, development, and management of real estate assets on behalf of Italian and international institutional investors. Active in the Italian real estate sector since 1974, COIMA has developed and continues to manage the Porta Nuova neighbourhood, one of Europe's most prestigious urban regeneration projects. We are looking for a Senior Media and PR Manager to join our Marketing & Communication team. In this highly visible role, you will work alongside the Marketing & Communication Director to strengthen and protect COIMA's reputation across local, national, and international media, institutional stakeholders, and community networks, connecting COIMA's projects, leadership, institutions, media, and stakeholders through strategic communication. Key responsibilities
• Coordinate press office activities across multiple projects and geographies, working closely with external communications agencies, public affairs advisors, and national and international media
• Lead the development of communication materials, including press releases, media statements, briefing notes, executive presentations, reports, corporate and project-related content, and stakeholder engagement materials.
• Support engagement with local authorities, community representatives, associations, and other local stakeholders through targeted communication initiatives.
• Lead communication activities related to projects with significant institutional, regulatory, community, or reputational implications.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, opinion leaders, and specialist media across the business, financial, real estate, sustainability, and lifestyle sectors.
• Support communication governance and approval processes across key internal functions, including Development, Investment Management, Asset Management, ESG, Legal, Finance, and Property Management Education, skills, and experience required:
• At least 10 years of experience in media and public relations, corporate and strategic communications, ideally within highly visible companies, real estate, infrastructure, urban regeneration, or similarly complex stakeholder environments.
• University degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Political Science, Economics, Law, or a related discipline.
• Proven track record in media and stakeholder relations, with experience managing journalists, institutional stakeholders, agencies, consultants, and multiple internal teams.
• Strong strategic communication and reputation management skills, with the ability to develop and execute integrated communication strategies, anticipate potential risks, and support crisis and issues management.
• Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex business, regulatory, and technical topics into clear and compelling content for different audiences.
• Experience in an international PR, communications, or corporate affairs agency will be considered a plus.
• Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
