Expert Power Portfolio Management

As an
Expert Power Portfolio Management, you will be part of Eni's
Global Natural Resources
Management , specifically the
Power Generation & Marketing
business . Your team will oversee the short-term management and optimization of the electricity portfolio through the definition of supply strategies in the energy and services markets, forecasting, and market analysis activities.
Key activities:
Analyze short-term electricity market dynamics, monitoring the competitive environment, regulatory developments, and energy price trends.
Contribute to the definition of optimal supply strategies on electricity markets, including through the development of quantitative and statistical models
Implement market strategies and ensure the presence of activities on Italian and foreign electricity markets
Monitor the performance of the actions undertaken, analyzing the behavior of competitors, the needs of the electrical system and the evolution of market conditions, in order to dynamically adapt the strategies
Support commercial electricity sales forecasting activities and sourcing and scheduling activities
Prepare periodic reporting and analysis to support decision-making processes
Contribute to continuous improvement and automation projects of the unit's operational processes
Required characteristics:
Master's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Mathematical Engineering or Physics, Statistics, or related disciplines with a strong quantitative focus. Other qualifications, including lower qualifications, may be considered, based on significant experience in the electricity market or energy management.
At least 3 years of experience in similar roles or a PhD in quantitative subjects
Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package
Good knowledge of the English language
Availability for national and international mobility
The profile is completed by:
Familiarity with programming languages (preferably Python)
Ability to interpret market dynamics and translate analytical evidence into operational indications

We offer a gross annual salary between 48,000 and 56,000 euros.
The final offer will be formulated in accordance with the professional experience, technical and transversal skills possessed by the resource, functional for the role and appreciable by the company.
In the presence of particularly relevant professional experience and technical and transversal skills, the Company may evaluate an offer with an improved classification/RAL level.
