Job Summary
The HR Manager is responsible for ensuring legal compliance across all employment-related matters
while providing expert guidance on labor law, employee relations, and risk management. This role serves
as a key advisor to leadership and HR teams, ensuring alignment between Italian labor legislation and
Foundever’s global HR policies.
Key Responsibilities
Employment Law & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with Italian labor legislation, collective bargaining agreements, and
- Monitor changes in employment law and proactively advise leadership and HR stakeholders on
- Support the development, review, and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and
Employee Relations & Case Management
- Lead and manage complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary actions, grievances,
- Provide expert guidance on performance management processes to ensure legal soundness and
- Act as a subject matter expert for sensitive cases, ensuring fair treatment and risk mitigation.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and operational teams on
- Support negotiations with works councils, unions, or employee representatives when applicable.
- Liaise with external legal counsel, labor authorities, and regulatory bodies as required.
- Identify employment-related legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Support audits, inspections, and internal reviews related to labor compliance.
- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping to support legal defensibility.
- Deliver training and guidance to managers and HR teams on labor law, employee relations, and
- Promote consistent and compliant application of HR policies across the organization.
Degree in Law (mandatory); specialization in Labor or Employment Law is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in employment law, HR legal advisory, or employee
- Strong, practical knowledge of Italian labor legislation and employment practices.
- Experience working in a multinational or matrixed organization is an advantage.
- BPO experience preferred
