The Retail Merchandising LG Coordinator supports all the activities related to assortment definition, buying guidelines, briefing documents, sales and competitor analysis, visual initiatives and retail presentations. The Retail Merchandising LG Coordinator helps coordinating the merchandising tasks at WW level to fully address business opportunities while maintaining brand consistency across collections and markets.
Job responsibilities- Analyzing business performance of related Line/Channel by sell-thru, sell-in, sell-out, best sellers, slow movers and analysis of other relevant K.P.I.s
- Monitoring sales and projections, optimizing the stock level across channels and proposing transfers, cancellations and replenishments
- Contributing in the definitions of guidelines to the regional merchandising teams during the buying campaign, defining the product assortment, and ensuring that the output is consistent with the Merchandising strategy
- Reviewing orders with regional merchandisers during and after the seasonal selling campaigns, constantly supporting the local teams
- Collaborating with other corporate departments (Collection and Visual Merchandising, Planning, Finance etc.) on cross-functional activities, making sure retail needs are fulfilled
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management Engineering or related fields
- At least 4 years of experience in fashion or luxury companies as Collection Merchandising, Retail Merchandising or Buying
- Deep product knowledge of the handbag category with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, including competitor benchmarking
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power BI and Power Point)
- Analytical mindset, with passion for quantitative and qualitative deep dive on sales performance
- Good understanding of market trends and consumer behavior
- Strong relational skills and attitude in team working
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening and at ease with public speaking
For new joiners in this role in Italy, the initial annual gross salary is EUR 40.000.
This salary has been determined on the basis of objective and gender-neutral criteria and corresponds to the compensation normally granted for this position at the time of publication of this job posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as your unique combination of experience and skills, seniority, and current organizational needs.
This role also provides for participation in a bonus scheme, at Loro Piana’s discretion, based on factors such as individual and/or company performance.
In addition to the benefits provided by law, further benefits may be granted in accordance with current company policies.
The employment relationship will be governed by the provisions of the applicable national collective bargaining agreement (CCNL Tessile Abbigliamento e Moda) and the supplementary company agreement, as applied by Loro Piana in Italy.
