Eurochiller Srl, part of the Atlas Copco Group, is a Leading European designer and manufacturer of customized chillers and thermoregulation units, with a specific focus on plastic applications with a full-in house design, assembly and testing activities.The company has two certified production sites, located in North of Italy and Slovakia. Eurochiller is looking for a new Project Engineer based in the Italian Site in Castello D’Agogna – PV.

Job description

In this role, as project engineer, you are a team member in the R&D department focusing on chillers and coolers projects from concept to production. You report the overview and status of the projects to the R&D teamcoach, to whom you’ll report to.

Your most important responsibilities are supporting the projects by bringing together and analyse the input for the different technical aspects. This you do by/ Such as:

Designing and selecting of components/systems and ensure the specifications for the prototypes and serial products.Performance calculationsCoordinating testsVerifying and making technical and economical choices in a projectKeeping close contact with the different departments to capture their needs in the design in essence with Marketing, Production, service & logisticsSupport the planning of projectsReuse of existing knowledge and support the storing and build-up of knowledgeRelease final documentation of material. Releasing customer documentation like manuals and spare part lists. Following up the product after introduction together with aftersales.

You take initiative and cooperate on continuous improvement of the new product development and the engineering process in general.

Experience requirements

Experience in a design and development environment is a plus
Experience with the chiller technology is a plus

Knowledge

Fluent in English. Good command of Italian.
A good general technical knowledge
Affinity with Thermodynamics, mechanical design and calculations/simulations
Knowledge of Matlab & Excel or other calculation tools is a plus.

Educational requirements

University degree in Engineering, preferably Master Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering, or equal through experience.

Other requirements

We are looking for a candidate residing near our offices (Castello D’Agogna – PV) or willing to relocate.
