We are looking for a Financial Cost Targeting - Exterior Trim Components to join our headquarters at Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), hierarchically reporting to the Head of Controlling and functionally to the Head of Target Costing.
You will be responsible to define financial investments & material costs targets for Exterior Trim Components working together with the Finance Project Leaders and to improve components costs in collaboration with Procurement Dpt., R&D Dpt. Using cost engineering methodology. The aim is to guarantee the respect on the project target in terms of cost, quality and time.
Being reference of the material costs data for a specific technical perimeter with an active role in the 5 years planning for the car costs either for the series or for the pre-series models for series model being responsible for the quarterly tracking of the COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) Analyzing original project targets by components including plausibility checks for Strategy Team and benchmark with current and new competitor’s models Assigning target costs for parts and material manufacturing costs (e.g. overhead costs, materials costs, process costs etc.) according to R&D technical requirements including benchmark with current and new competitors models; Improving the product cost by means of effective methodology of cost engineering (VAVE, design to cost) Being the finance representative in SET (Simultaneous Engineering Team), manage the necessary information through the finance department and be responsible for variable costs and investments management during product lifecycle with special focus on modification costs Managing change requests within the SET and assign modification cost target Ensuring and update reports and trends preparation Ensuring cost materials consultancy after product SOP.About you
University Degree in Engineering / Economics Wide experience in cost engineering activities for different kind of components and technologies Cost engineering skills (Value analysis, value engineering, design to cost) Usage of cost engineering software (Siemens PCM, Lean cost) Economics & accountancy basics Analysis and problem solving Precise and careful Time and costs management Proactivity Effective communication and negotiation skill MultitaskingWhat we offer
