We are currently seeking an experienced Backend Engineer with an interest in DevOps. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing backend code, and reviewing and refactoring code written by the AI and Data Science Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Write backend code in TypeScript and Python for our micro service based backend
  • Write pipelines in GitHub actions and update our IaC repository written with AWS CDK using TypeScript
  • Guard our codebase with strong coding practices by reviewing pull requests from the Data Science and AI team
  • Collaborate with our medical professionals in order to translate user and business needs into functional backend code
  • Ensure code quality and maintainability
  • Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in software engineering, and continuously evaluate new tools and techniques for potential adoption
  • Find and troubleshoot frontend related bugs and errors within the entire infrastructure
  • Help us scale our solution across diseases and patient organizations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (this is a hard requirement, as applicants with bootcamps will not be considered)
  • Experience as a Backend Engineer
  • Strong programming skills in TypeScript & Python
  • Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Proficiency with REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Knowledge of data integration and ETL processes, tools, and best practices
  • (Experience with AWS cloud services, specifically the TypeScript CDK)
  • (Experience in the healthcare industry or a strong interest in healthcare and wellness)
  • (Exposure to infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions)
  • (Less then 36 month have passed since you finished your last degree)
  • (The pw is WorkAtMama)
  • (You suffer from chronic disease and/or have experience in treating people with a chronic disease and are able to understand the needs of such patients)
